The Art of the Turtle

The Turntles project is a new NFT collection inspired by the digital glitch of the metaverse. It features hand-illustrated turtle shell characters with unique personalities and styles. The project was created with the intention of capturing the classic, nostalgic video game esthetic. Each NFT is a one-of-a-kind, generative piece of digital on-chain art.

As the creator of this project, I wanted to create something unique yet simple, with a touch of my own flair. When I look at generative PFP projects everything is so noisy, so I dialed it back. By keeping the shapes simple and using minimal but clean coloring techniques, I was able to achieve the classic retro aesthetic that we all know and love. Fine tuned rarity, theres some really dope snags in this drop. It’s Turnt!

The Turntles collection includes 2500 generated NFTs, with 10 legendary 1 of 1s and over 100 traits. Each NFT is hand-curated and drawn at 2048×2048 pixels. Fully on-chain, hosted on IPFS, deployed on ETHEREUM, the Turntles NFT Drop is one of the most exciting projects I’m dropping in 2023.
