Scuderia Ferrari & Velas NFTs

Scuderia Ferrari, the winningest Formula One team with 15 champions won throughout its illustrious history, has announced a partnership with Velos Network AG, a Swiss blockchain firm that specializes in building non-fungible tokens solutions.

The collaboration is stated to be long-term, making Velas responsible for the team’s non-fungible contributions. This blockchain-based promotional material will span the company’s wide range of racing endeavors, including both the F1 and Esports teams, and will, therefore, feature some of the greatest race cars ever to grace the circuit.

It’s no secret that recently many motor racing teams have jumped into the NFT locomotive to increase the public’s engagement. However, to date, the Tezos blockchain plays host to the majority of F1-based NFT collections, and it will therefore be interesting to see what Velas brings to the large community of NFT fam.

The first drop of exclusive racing digital collectibles is scheduled for March 2022, along with the start of the new F1 season.
