Archie Comics is partnering with Palm NFT Studio to launch the Archieverse: Eclipse NFT collection. This is the comic book company’s first foray into Web3. Similarly, it is also its first attempt to leverage the blockchain to develop fan-generated art and stories.
Archieverse is a PFP collection inspired by The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. It features 66,666 generative characters and 3 million outcomes linked by what they mention as an “ominous prophecy.” The collection will go live on May 16 via its own website and each NFT will cost $66.66.

Laura Braga and Vincezo Federici, the artists behind the 80-year-old franchise, partnered with Palm NFT Studio to create a new blockchain-based writer’s room called the “Archiverse: Eclipse.”
According to the company, the Archiverse intends to empower Archie Comics fans to author the brand’s future through generative storytelling. Its writer’s room invites fans to create and submit new storylines for their characters. The creators of selected submissions will receive rewards and story credits from future comic series integration.
